The Conference will be held in Naples, Italy, from 19th to 21th November, 2018 at the  Congress Center of the University of Naples,  via Partenope 36, 80121 Naples, Italy.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM

November 19th, Monday

Registration opens at 12:30

Opening of afternoon session: 14:30

The session will host the invited lecture of Prof. Enrico Capobianco, Center for Computational Science, University of Miami, Florida, USA  entitled Rerouting Biomarkers & Targets in Cancer Research through Networks.

The session will include oral presentations selected from the submitted contributions.

November 20th, Tuesday

Opening of morning session:  9:00

The session will host the invited lecture of Prof. Christine Orengo – Professor of Bioinformatics, University College of London, London UK entitled CATH Functional families (FunFams) – insights into impacts of genetic variations.

Afternoon session

The session will host the invited lecture of Prof. David Gilbert – Professor in Computer Science, Brunel University London, UK entitled An engineering approach to whole genome bacterial metabolic design: principles, practice and challenges for Computational Synthetic Biology.

The two sessions will include oral presentations selected from the submitted contributions.

At the end of the afternoon session (17:30): social event including a guided tour of the town (depending on atmospheric conditions) and social dinner.

 November 21th, Wednesday

Opening of morning session:  9:00

The session will host two invited lectures: by Prof. Christian Blum, Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA), Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Bellaterra – Catalonia, Spain entitled Useful Optimization Techniques for String Problems From Computational Biology and by Dr. Roberta Bosotti, Genomics Group Leader and Head of NGS Unit, Biotechnology Dept. – Nerviano Medical Sciences srl, Nerviano (MI), Italy  entitled Genomics and bioinformatics in support to development of personalized medicine in oncology

The session will include oral presentations selected from the submitted contributions.

Conference will close at 13:00
