There are more publications planned as proceedings and post-proceedings of the BBCC conference.
NEW: PeerJ: the abstracts submitted for BBCC2018 and included in the Final Program as oral or poster presentation can be published in the preprint PeerJ BBCC2018 Collection. Abstracts published as preprint in PeerJ will be eligible for the PeerJ Award.
Moreover, PeerJ offers $100 discount on the publication fee for articles submitted to PeerJ journals, following the inclusion of the abstract in the PrePrint PeerJ BBCC2018 Collection.
BMC Bioinformatics: Authors of conference communications will be invited to submit full articles after the conference for publication in a supplement of BMC Bioinformatics. Evaluation of articles will follow general rules of BioMedCentral for supplements (full articles will be peer-reviewed and selected by conference organization, then submitted to BMC Editors for final approval). Costs of publication will be applied, with a reduction in comparison to the standard publication fee of the journal. Dates for submission of the full articles will be notified to registred participants to the conference (provisionally fixed at the end of January 2019) with complete details.
Accepted contributions for presentations at the conference will also be published in the BBCC conference abstract book (unofficial pdf book).
Two other publications are under preparation, in form of an e-book and of a special issue on an international journal with IF and PubMed indexing. Stay tuned for updates.
Additional publication opportunity will be considered for the most appreciated contributions, for invited reviews or chapters in volumes under preparation for the next years.
